Socorro M. Marquez, age 73, passed away on May 23, 2026, at Apex Secure Care in Brownfield, TX.
Born on Jan. 19, 1953, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Socorro was the son of the late Felicitas Munoz and Salvador Marquez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers.
Socorro is survived by his devoted wife; and his twelve beloved children. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
Socorro was a hardworking, dependable, and compassionate man. He enjoyed working outdoors, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral service for Socorro Marquez was held Friday morning, June 5, 2026, at Grace Chapel within Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, TX. Interment was in Littlefield Cemetery in Littlefield.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral home in Littlefield.
