Troy ‘Lynn’ Tobert, 55, of Amherst, TX, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was born on June 20, 1970, in Amherst, to Troy and Fausty Tolbert.
Lynn was born and raised in Amherst. He graduated from Amherst High School in 1989. He enjoyed his small-town life and worked at the Farmers’ Co-Op Gin in Amherst for many years. He enjoyed having friend gatherings while grilling and taking in conversations. Lynn lived in Hobbs, NM for some time where he worked for an electric company. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Lynn was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents; two brothers; two nieces and one nephew.
Lynn was preceded in death by his grandparents. Rosary was said after visitation on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Grace Chapel within Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, TX.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
