In Loving Memory Of Pedro Abel Juarez, Jr.
Oct. 5 1981 ~ May 20, 2026
Pedro Abel Juarez, Jr., 44, of Littlefield, Texas, entered eternal life with the Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. Pedro was born October 5, 1981, in Littlefield, Texas, to Pedro Juarez, Sr. and Teresa Juarez (Davila).
Pedro was one of a kind - goofy, funny, and always making people laugh, even if he was known for having a terrible sense of humor. He could turn almost anything into a joke and had a way of bringing smiles to the people around him. Beneath the laughter was a man with a huge heart who loved deeply and showed up for the people he cared about. He married the love of his life and forever soulmate, April Lilly DeLosSantos, on July 9, 2016, in Littlefield. Together they built a loving blended family that meant everything to him.
More than anything, Pedro loved being a husband and a dad. He never missed an opportunity to be involved in his children's lives and treasured every moment spent with his family. Whether making memories, laughing together, or simply being present, his family was his greatest joy. He also adored his two dogs, Daisy and Milo, who were part of the family he cherished so much.
Pedro proudly served in the United States Army, serving multiple tours during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He carried the heart of a protector and fought hard for the people and things he believed in.
Faith was at the center of Pedro's life. He devoted countless hours to serving others through hospital ministry, prison ministry, and homeless outreach. He found great joy working with the youth at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was also in formation to become a Deacon for the Diocese of Lubbock, only one year away from ordination. Pedro had a servant's heart and gave freely of his time-especially praying rosaries for grieving families and walking alongside others in difficult times. He loved the Lord deeply and lived out his faith not only in church, but in the way he loved and cared for people every day.
Pedro leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion. Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, April Juarez; his five children, Pedro Juarez, III of Littlefield, Ethan Hackler of Lubbock, Aubrey Hackler of Lubbock, Ava Juarez of and Eliana Juarez both of Littlefield; his father, Pedro Juarez, Sr. of Wolfforth, Texas; and his siblings, Joe Olmos, Joseph Olmos, Tabitha Juarez, and Rhesa Juarez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Juarez; sister, Sarah Juarez; and son, Abel Juarez.
Mass was held Thursday afternoon, May 28, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Littlefield, Texas with Bishop Robert Coerver and Deacon Juan Cavazos officiating. Rosary Service was held Wednesday evening, May 27, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Littlefield, Texas.
