Manual Oscar Rendon, 87, passed away on May 17, 2026. Oscar was born on Jan. 25, 1939, in San Antonio, TX, to Manual and Maria Anacleta Rendon.
Oscar is father to two sons and four daughters. He was a Grandpa to 17 grandchildren and a Great-Grandpa to seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and eight siblings.
Oscar was a member of St. Joseph’s (Stratford, TX) and St. Anthony of Padua (Anton, TX) Catholic Churches where he served as an Altar Server, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, and member of the Church Board. Oscar also joined community members to help build St. Anthony’s.
By trade, Oscar was a farmer and a welder. He enjoyed playing dominoes and reading the Bible.
Family and friends may gather for a recitation of the rosary on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1305 Phelps Avenue, Littlefield, TX. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 402 Maurer Avenue, Anton. Interment will follow at Anton Cemetery.
