In Loving Memory Of Carol June Grace July 1, 1934 ~ Jan. 28, 2026

Carol June Grace, 91, passed from this life into eternity on January 28, 2026. She was born on July 1, 1934, in Roundup, Texas, to Otto and Vera Taylor.

June grew up in Anton, Texas, and graduated from Anton High School in 1952. She carried the small-town warmth and strong work ethic she learned there throughout her life.

Her greatest joy was her family. She said surviving being a mom to three boys was one of her life's greatest accomplishments, and she wore that title with both humor and pride. She later poured that same love into her granddaughters and great-granddaughters as 'Meemaw', spending countless hours at the pool, at school events, and cheering from the stands at sports games, dance recitals, and band competitions. Nothing meant more to her than showing up.

June was a longtime Sunday School teacher in the United Methodist Church, where she faithfully invested in the lives of children and families for many years. Her life reflected the faith she taught; many have said she was one of the most 'Christ-like' people they had ever known. She showed unconditional love and kindness to everyone such as family, friends, and even strangers.

She served her community by volunteering at the local high school, often helping with decorations and special events. She worked for many years at the ASCS office and later at Red Apple Resources, where she was known for her diligence and friendly spirit.

June was creative and gifted with her hands. She loved hand embroidery and was known for her beautiful handmade cards and tea towels, each one a small work of art. She also expressed her love through her kitchen. Her famous chocolate cake, always baked in the pan with the handle, was a family favorite, along with her chocolate chip Rice Krispy treats, purple cows, and caramel crunch. Her treats filled both stomachs and hearts.

She was always beautifully put together, rarely seen without her makeup and her favorite perfume. June loved flowers and could often be found sitting in her garden, peacefully watching the birds.

June will be remembered as the most kind and compassionate person, someone who constantly puts others before herself. Her life was a steady example of grace, faith, and love.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Grace, Mark Grace and wife, Dana, and Matt Grace and wife, Felice; daughterin-law, Carla Ehlo; granddaughters, Amanda Grace, Sarah Hay and husband, Michael, Jacqui Kellogg and husband, Kyle, Jonna Taft and husband, Chris; grandson, Jason Martinez and wife, Becca; great-granddaughters, Hannah Appel, Mayah Hay and Tori Hay; sister, Glenna Parker; along with many beloved extended family members.

Her legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love will continue to bloom in the lives of all who knew her.
