Outreach Continues for the Buying American Cotton Act

National Cotton Council reports that Buying American Cotton Act (BACA) meetings with Member offices continued this week as NCC staff and industry organizations work to secure bipartisan support for the legislation.

The team has met with 74 offices so far and anticipates at least 15 more meetings next week. While many of these offices represent regions across the Cotton Belt, NCC has also engaged with congressional offices representing the garment districts and retailers in New York City, Los Angeles, and other major metropolitan areas.

These discussions have been well- received and have generated positive feedback as the team continues to build on its outreach efforts.
