New World Screwworm has been confirmed in Zavala County Calf

On June 3 the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) received confirmation of a detection of New World screwworm (NWS) in Zavala County.

Angelo State University Announces Spring 2026 Dean’s List

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced students achieving the Dean’s List designation for the 2026 spring semester.To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District has announced the winners of its 2026 Senior Scholarship competition, which asks local students to research and write essays on agricultural issues affecting their region.
