In October, HPWD delivered interactive water conservation programs to local schools. Approximately 600 students are learning about the Ogallala Aquifer and the journey of water from source to tap. Through these educational programs, HPWD continues to teach and inspire students to be good stewards and to make a difference in conserving water. Lamb Co. Library Board sponsors Sock Drive

The Salvation Army of Lubbock has reported that socks are the most requested but least donated item at homeless shelters.In response, the Lamb County Library and the Lamb County Courthouse are conducting a Sock Drive to help those in need.

Lfd. EMS to sponsor Basic EMT Course

Littlefield EMS will be sponsoring an EMT Basic course Jan. 2, 2026 through June 10, 2026. This will be State and National EMS certification.Classes will be Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m./ two Saturday classes.

Springlake-Earth ISD to host Thanksgiving Meal Nov. 19th

Springlake- Earth ISD would like to invite parents and families to join your student for out annual Thanksgiving Meal on November 19, 2025, in the Cafeteria.Tickets will be on sale at the Elementary Office. Price is $8 for adults and $5 for children. SE Students eat free as usual.
