Breakfast with Santa at Webb Elementary in Olton set for Dec. 13

It’s almost that time of year!! Webb ABC Elementary in Olton presents Breakfast with Santa 2025!Santa will be in town Saturday, December 13th at Olton ISD’s cafeteria for a hearty pancake breakfast.There will be photos with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m., Face Painting, and Letters to Santa.

Anton ISD Bands set Christmas Concert

Anton ISD will be holding their Band Christmas Concerts on Monday, December 15th beginning at 2:30 p.m.Featured bands include, fifth grade beginner band, sixth and seventh grade junior high band and eighth and ninth grade high school band.

FCCLA is spreading holiday cheer!

The Olton High School FCCLA chapter will be feeding local families over Christmas break, and are collecting donations to help make it happen. If you would like to contribute, monetary donations can be dropped off at the high school office or you can contact Ami Sandoval Rios directly.

Crop/Livestock Production Risk Seminar to be held in Levelland

Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service is holding a Crop/Livestock Production Risk Seminar at the Extension Office in Levelland, located at 1212 Houston Street, on Dec. 17th.The cost of the seminar is $40.The program is approved by TDA for eight CEU’s (one L&R, three IPM, four General).

Texas Beef Council announces New Board of Directors

– The Texas Beef Council (TBC) has announced its Board of Directors for fiscal year 2026, which officially began October 1. The twenty directors, nominated by producer organizations or industry segments from across the state, represent the diverse voices of Texas cattlemen and women.

Since 2006, Cotton Incor-porated’s Blue Jeans Go Green program has collected denim (made from cotton) so it can be recycled back to its original fiber state and transformed into something new.

Lamb County Crops Conference Dec. 16th

The Texas A& M AgriLife Extension Service is hosting its annual Lamb County Crops Conference at Lamb County Ag Center on December 16, 2025 in Littlefield, Texas Registration begins at 8:00am and the program will wrap up at 3:00pm.
