Littlefield’s First Federal Bank will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary on Monday, July 5, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lamb County Ag and Community Center, 1095 E. 17th Street (Highway 385 at 17th Street) in Littlefield.

Local students graduate from Abilene Christian Uni.

Abilene Christian University awarded 1,206 degrees May 7, 8 in three ceremonies taking place in Wildcat Stadium. Because the university did not conduct a December 2020 graduation ceremony, May Commencement included both December 2020 and May 2021 graduates.

JUNE 24 ROTARY CLUB SPEAKER – Mallory Marquez, who will be a Junior student at Littlefield High School this fall, talked about her experiences this year at Rotary’s Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership) for the club Thursday, June 24. Introducing her for the program was Rotary President Jason Hunter. Rotarians were eating lunch at Loco’s Restaurant, and next Thursday, July 1, 2021, the club will begin a new year of Rotary, and will be eating again at Lamb Healthcare Center’s Atrium, after getting food in the Kitchen. Mike Ryan’s musical story began in the Lone Star state, his first exposure to music was from his grandfather, who directed the Texas National Guard Band for over 30 years. He became one of Ryan’s biggest musical influences, first learning the clarinet from him – among other instruments.
