The Littlefield Police Department released information about the theft of a black push mower. On Saturday, July 3, 2021 at approximately 10:48 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a residence on Harral Avenue in Littlefield, regarding a theft that had already occurred.

New Exhibit celebrates Texas Parks in movies

From mountains and pine forests to grasslands and sandy beaches, Texas is “wonderfully rich indeed” when it comes to natural beauty. Through government and promotional films, public television, home movies, and more, the Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) explores Texas parks in its newest exhibit, “Parks Under the Lone Star.” Created in partnership with the Office of the Governor’s Texas Film Commission (TFC), the exhibit features more than 60 videos collected as a part of the Texas Film Round-Up to take users on a visual journey through the state and national parks of Texas.

Library is seeking yearbook donations

In an effort to update and complete the library’s collection, the library asking if anyone is willing to part with their old yearbooks.

June sales tax revenue was $166,444 for county

(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said Texas’ state sales tax revenue totaled $3.16 billion in June, 18.1% more than in June 2020. Year-over-year increases for most tax revenues this month were affected by base effects: Year-ago revenue collections to which this year’s collections are compared were severely suppressed by the pandemic.

NEW SERVICE WINDOW – Service through the newly installed Food King Pharmacy’s drive-up window, 102 W. Waylon Jennings Blvd in Littlefield, is still not ready to open. Employees at the Food King Pharmacy are anxious to be able to receive prescription orders, and deliver the product to their customers.
