As of Jan. 15, the application to appear on the general elec-tion ballot is open until Feb. 14 at 5 p.m.Representatives of Districts 3 and 4, two independent school board positions and the mayoral candidate are eligible for election.

Lamb County Retired School Personnel Assoc. to meet Feb. 4

The February meeting of the Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Real Life Center of the Littlefield Methodist Church.The program will be presented by a representative of the Sudan Independent School District.

SWCD taking orders for Windbreak Trees

Those who are interested can either pick up the order forms from one of the area gins, or email Arcie to have her send them a list via email. The public can also pick up order forms at the SWCD office located at 2431 S. Farwell Ave.

The Littlefield Animal Shelter is excited to announce the winner of its mural design contest: Starla Taylor, a talented junior at Littlefield High School. Starla’s design stood out among several incredible submissions for its creativity and the positive message it brings to the community.
