Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Lamb County Commissioners held their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 13– item agenda was discussed.The meeting was called to order at 10 a.m.

Sudan walks it off, 3-2, against San Jacinto

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team took down San Jacinto Christian Academy on Friday, 3-2, on a walk-off hit by Caleb Groetken, in the Lamb County Classic.With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-4 overall on the year.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Lubbock and SPCAA Community Action Host Family Services Event

The SPCAA Community Action Center and the Catholic Charities Diocese of Lubbock corroborated to educate and bring some relief and answers to residents of the South Plains on Saturday, February 24, 2025 at the SPCAA Center located in Laguna Park in Littlefield, Texas.

Two possible measles exposure sites in Lubbock

The number of measles cases has risen to 124 in West Texas and Lubbock Health Officials have confirmed the death of an unvaccinated school-aged child at a Lubbock hospital.For the first time in the United States since 2015, a death attributed to measles has been reported.

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2025, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 13–item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.
