City Council holds regular meeting Feb. 25

The governing body of the City of Littlefield met in regular session on Feb. 25th, at the City Council Chambers, for the purpose of considering all matters and related incidents to the City of Littlefield.The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m.

Lady Cats run rule Idalou, 20-1

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team run-ruled the Idalou Lady Cats on the road Tuesday afternoon, 20-1.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 10-4 overall, 2-1 in district play.

Cotton Day at the Capitol

Plains Cotton Growers joined other commodity groups in Texas to celebrate Cotton Day during the 89th Texas Legislature. Sen. Charles Perry (R-District 28) designated March 4, 2025 as Cotton Day to celebrate this industry that we all love.

Fabric Printing: Another Opportunity for Cotton

Kyler and Cheyenna Todd opened LBK Printing Co. in August 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The world saw an uptick in hobbies and crafting during that time, and the Todd family saw an opportunity.I was sewing clothes as a side hustle and buying my fabrics online,” Cheyenna said.
