TDSHS reports 400 measles cases, 23 cases in Lubbock; no increase in Lamb County

As of March 28, 2025, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported 400 measles cases with 41 hospitalizations in the South Plains and Panhandle region.Additionally, one school-aged unvaccinated child who lived in the region died. The child had no underlying health conditions.
