Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County held their regular meeting on Monday at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield to discuss a six-item agenda.Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. and gave the invocation before leading the U.S. and Texas Pledge of Allegiance.

Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association to meet May 6

The May meeting of the Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association will be held on Tuesday, May 6 at the Littlefield Methodist Church Social Center at 10:00 a.m. The program will be the Installation of Officers.

Lfd. Jr. High releases Honor Rolls

The Littlefield Junior High School released the Honor Rolls for the second six weeks of the second semester.“A” HONOR ROLL Seventh Grade:Ian Mata, Jaden Winters and Kaden Winters.Eighth Grade:Jacob Fuentes, Melany Marquez, Nayeli Mata and Chanel Salinas.

Bob Edwards hosts 16th annual Fish Fry

Ahead of Easter Sunday and his 92nd birthday, Bob Edwards hosted the 16th annual Fish Fry.This event has occurred every year since Edwards’ 85th birthday, and since then, Edwards devoted himself to hosting an annual fish fry for as long as possible.
