Better Sleep Month-Get the Sleep You Need

Better Sleep Month is observed during the month of May and aims to encourage healthy patterns of sleep and educate on the benefits of sleeping well. According to Amy Valdez, Texas A&M AgriLife Program Specialist, “sleep is just as important as including a well-balanced eating pattern and physical activity into our daily lives. It can have a great impact on our physical and mental health, and a lack of sleep can be detrimental”.

Area schools set to graduate this weekend

The Class of 2023 is set to graduate this weekend around the Region. Graduates of Littlefield, Sudan, Amherst, Springlake-Earth and Olton will be walking the stage later this week, concluding their high school careers. Anton will graduate next week.

Olton continues play-off run with Area win over Sanford Fritch

The Mustangs took game one, 7-6, and took game 2, 5- 0, to take the Area Championship. Littlefield Jr. High holds Eighth Grade Graduation

Friday, May 12, 2023 marked the end of Junior High School and the progression into High School for 75 Littlefield Eighth students. The ceremonies began as the students entered the Junior High School Auditorium to the familiar refrains of “Pomp and Circumstance”.
