South Plains Association of Governments Area Agency on Aging is hosting their 9th An-nual Family Caregiver Conference on Thursday, July 13th from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Science Spectrum Exhibit Hall located at 2579 S. Loop 289 Lubbock, TX.
The conference is a free event reaching out to family caregivers who are caring for their loved one, but is open to the public as well. We will have keynote speaker Tam Cummings, PhD presenting on Understanding, Identifying and Staging the Nine Dementia’s. Her newest book The Itty-Bitty Dementia will be provided to the first 150 attending and lunch will be provided. We will also have several agencies showcasing their services and ending the day with door prize giveaways.
