First, I want to thank all of you who donated something for the sidewalk sale to raise money for some much needed funds.
We just were not able to follow through with our plans. We will let you know exactly when the sale will happen and hope it will not be too long.
Not having the sale worked out well, because one of our supporters just happened to find and rescue someone in their home. If she had been sitting at the sale, she wouldn’t have been in the right place at the right time. So, you might say that the Lord does work in mysterious ways.
Please keep us in mind for anything you would like to donate for this sale, as I think we have decided this just might turn into a yearly event. After all, Littlefield does have their annual garage sale every year, and we can just participate.
Don’t forget, we still need all our members to pay the yearly dues, and we welcome new members with open arms. $50.00 is all it takes to become a member, and these funds just keep the doors open.
I’m sure we are all grateful for the rain that has been coming, and we surely do feel bad for all those who suffered losses from the tornadoes and storms. Keep our community in your prayers because there are certainly many people who suffered lots of damage..
