'And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.' Genesis 14-8.
One day in the last quarter of the year 2025, a man of God was discussing with his son about their feeding for the following day. The young man told his father that the Scriptures say we should 'not worry' about tomorrow. They agreed but the father added that there is a difference between 'worry' about tomorrow and 'plan' for tomorrow. The son also agreed, knowing the truth.
Every man who was created in the image and likeness of God possesses His attributes. He created man to continue the work of creation after He had made every material needed available for him.
During His work in creation, He gave a practical example of how to plan a work. He put first things first and last things last. For instance, God, the Master Planner created the firmament, which He called Heaven. This was the work of the second day.
Do you know what?
The work of the second day was a sure provision for the works of the fourth day. The Scriptures disclosed that the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars were created. Their hanging place was the firmament which was created on the second day.
'God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,' Genesis 1:17.
Beloved, God has endowed you with all that you need to fulfill your destiny on this Earth but you need to plan for what to do first and what will follow in sequence. Follow your Heavenly Father's method of doing His things. He plans well. Plan well to achieve your set goals to fulfill your destiny or your assigned roles in God's scheme of things.
May the Lord grant you the needed wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to plan well in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
