Littlefield Primary School held a Christmas event for the families of their students on Dec. 13. The event featured pictures with Santa and Mrs. Santa in the cafeteria, a Christmas Story room, a Christmas Craft room, and refreshments and a family sing-along in the cafeteria

Ȧs students and their families arrived, they were greeted at the door by teachers who gave each family a card that would guide them to each of the four activities planned for their evening. Photos with Santa in the cafeteria was the first stop. The guests formed a line to have photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus taken by Karen Nichols of Lubbock. Those not in line visited with neighbors and friends and used the opportunity to take their own photos. After their photos were taken the families moved to the next activity on their card.

Some groups started in the music room for story time featuring Pancho Clause, read in English and Spanish by Mrs. Miranda. Other groups started in the library for Christmas Crafts. In the Crafts room, the students created Christmas ornaments and colored Christmas pictures. The groups rotated to the other activity room. After the groups finished their rotations, they moved back to the cafeteria for refreshments and the family sing-along. Tonie Meredith, the music teacher at Primary, led everyone in traditional Christmas songs as well as popular newer holiday songs. Mrs. Meredith also led the children through the steps of activity songs.

The faculty and staff wish to acknowledge and thank all the individuals and organizations who contributed to their family night event including:
