The Lamb Healthcare Center Auxiliary will host the annual bake sale and bazaar Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Atrium of the Lamb Healthcare Center, located at 1500 S. Sunset Avenue.
Area residents are invited to join.
“Come and buy your Thanksgiving baked goods, and shop a big selection of Christmas items,” said members of the Auxiliary.
LHC Auxiliary is a member of the Texas Association of Healthcare Volunteers and the Runningwater Draw Senior Volunteer Program which recognizes and facilitates Seniors in areas of service.
The Auxiliary is funded by the operation of the Gift Shop, one of their major projects. The Gift Shop, located near the front of the LHC lobby, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The Auxiliary gives generously to LHC patients and employees and they support the LHC Team Builders. They also participate in the annual LHC Health Fair, Relay for Life and the LHC Team Build-ers’ annual Trunk-or-Treat.
The Auxiliary also awards scholarships to local adults, or adults who have local ties, who want to pursue a career in the medical field. They also support other projects around the hospital by purchasing equipment and providing other facility improvements.
The Auxiliary meets every second Thursday of the month in the Hospital Education Room. For those looking to be a part of this active, caring organization, please call the Gift Shop at 806-385-6411, Ext. 2104. Part-time or full-time volunteers are always welcome.
