I hope that you take this article seriously and be assured that I include myself in this question.

I know some people that have moved to this country and are receiving government help, and complain and even say: It is different in my country. Also people that have moved to another state or moved to another town that complained the same way.

When I came to live in Littlefield, I lived my first dust storm. I complained and told my wife, we will only live at the most two years in this town. Pretty soon it will be 42 years since I said that and I give thanks to God that one day I realized I was not blessing the town I lived in.

What does Genesis 26:3 tells us? “Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham”.

If someone was to ask me “What blessings have you been given having moved from Colombia to the U.S.A.?” I will share a few.

Of my three children two were born here. I had the blessing of bringing my parents over, they have passed away and are in the Littlefield cemetery. God opened the door for many family members to come to this beautiful country. The Lord has blessed me being a pastor of my great church, Temple of Adoration.

What blessing have you received? Whether we were born in this country or came from another one, can you enumerate them?

I end declaring this following: “I bless this country, I bless the state of Texas and I bless Lamb County and Lubbock County, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
