I desire that your life will be blessed by reading this article.

What consequences does lying bring? Nothing good, especially in persons that lying has become a life style. Let’s speak a little about this behavior.

1. God is offended. Of the six things according to the book of Proverbs God hates lying. Let’s look at verse 6:16-17. “There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood.”

2. A person that is just and has integrity despises this type of life style. Also in the book of Proverbs it tells us: The just hates lying words.

3. The ones that practice it, take pleasure in saying it and become bad people. I hope you are not one of them. Psalms 52:3. “You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth.” The psalmist says something that helps us in not being liars. “I hate and abhor lies; I love your law.”

4. Crediability in a liar is practically none. 5. I consider that within a negative image that a person might have, one of them is being called a liar.

Do you know what the devil is called? The father of lies. This is what the apostle John says in John 8:44. “Because he is a liar, and the father of lies.”

I hope you have been blessed and motivated not to lie.

God bless you.
