Democratic voters have a short ballot

Lamb County’s Democratic Party Primary Election Ballot only has 12 candidates on it – none of which are local, and there are no propositions.

Early voting is now under way in the Lamb County Clerk’s Office, in the Courthouse, and will close Friday, Feb. 25, 2022.

On election day, March 1, Democratic voters will be voting in the same polling places as the Republican voters will be voting.

All voters in each of the voting precincts will be directed to the booths for their voting precinct.

The State Candidates are:

Governor: Beto O’Rourke; Rich Wakeland; Michael Copper Joy Diaz; and Inocencio (Inno) Barrientez.

Lieutenant Governor: Carla Brailey; Michelle Beckley; and Mike Collier.

Attorney General: Lee Merritt; Mike Fields; Rochele Mercedes Garza; S. “TBONE” Raynor; and Joe Jaworski.

Comptroller, Public Accounts: Tim Mahoney; Angel Luis Vega; and Janet T. Dudding.

Commiss. General Land Off. Sandragrace Martinez; Jinny Suh, Jay Kleberg and Michael Lange.

Commissioner of Agriculture: Ed Ireson; and Susan Hays.

Railroad Commissioner: Luke Warford.
