The Word of God tells us: “Let the heart of the ones that seek God rejoice”. I know some people have allowed themselves to be controlled by a sad temperament, to frequently complaining.

These celebrations are unique, it brings such joy and it’s not because of the gifts, it’s a contagious atmosphere. Get closer to God so your heart will be happy.

But what happens to those who have recently lost a loved one, or that on these celebrations it’s an anniversary of a loved

God understands these situations and I want to share two passages from His Word. The first one is in Proverbs 15:13: “A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit”. Naturally you are not going to celebrate Christmas as you normally do. Only the ones who trust in Jehovah can smile. and give thanks, even when the pain is present.

The other passage is in Psalm 18:6: “In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears”.
