Littlefield High School Student Council Annual Cake Auction is Friday, March 8th in the Wildcat Gym.

Varsity Football players will bring decorated cakes to be auctioned off to the student body and community. The Student Council is asking for businesses to come support this annual event and buy a cake. All proceeds from the cake auction will go to the Wildcat Wish program and our recipient this year will be Coach Jay Ragland.

This is Coach Ragland’s first year at Littlefield High School on the girl’s side. In the fall he began to have some health issues and has had numerous hospitals stays and has been diagnosed with N.A.SH. (Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis) and has been placed on the liver transplant list.

The past seven years, our goal has always been reached and Student Council, along with LHS students, have sponsored children and granted each child their wish. Last year the need to support a local scholarship was the decision made by student council, granting multiple wishes for graduating seniors.

This year we hope to help take a small portion of the financial burden Coach Ragland and his family are experiencing and show them our true Wildcat Magic spirit. We feel that is important to take care of our own, in any way possible.

The cake auction will start around 10: 30 a. m. Please come support this great cause. If you have any questions, you may call or email Charissa Golden @ Littlefield High School, 806- 385- 5683 or crgolden@lfdisd.org
