The 1984 graduating class of the Amherst Bulldogs joyously convened for their 40th Class Reunion, warmly welcomed back to their Alma Mater. Unexpectedly, the Class of 1985 decided to join in, adding to the jubilation. Together, they relished in the Annual Amherst Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Tuesday, March 26 and some rejoiced at the Centennial Celebration of the First Baptist Church of Amherst on Sunday, March 24.

At the heart of the reunion festivities, was a gathering at Amherst City Hall, where laughter echoed through the center as classmates reminisced about their school days, from elementary to high school. Stories flowed freely, each sparking another memory and igniting fresh waves of laughter. Alumni traveled from far and wide, journeying from Florida, Kansas, and Texas to partake in the reunion festivities. Notable attendees included: Class of ’84: David Cruz, Todd Carpenter, Barry Johnson, James Tomes, Lupe Rodriguez, Doug Hufstedler, Andy Cruz, and Joyce Jones.
