The Rotary Club of Littlefield held their annual Administrative Professional luncheon on Wednesday, April 24th.

Rotary president Lori Zinn Greeted guests and briefly reported on the activities of the Littlefield Rotary Club. She then introduced the keynote speaker for the event, Mrs. Kaci Morris, of Muleshoe who serves as Field Representative for US Congressman Jody Arrington. Mrs. Morris serves 19 counties in the district. Following Mrs. Morrison’s presentation Lupe Rodriguez and Laurie Zinn conducted a drawing for door prizes.

Rotarian Kay Franklin then introduced the Recipient of the Administrative Assistant for 2024, Mrs. Mary Ellen Rangel.

Mrs. Rangel first began her career as an aide in the high school office 46 years ago.

Franklin stated that she later moved to the central office to work as assistant to Superintendent Blakely in 1986. Since then, other superintendents have come and gone but Mary Ellen remained in the office of the Superintendent of Littlefield Independent school district . She moved to the new building located on east 14 th St. in 2005.

Mary Ellen will be retiring at the end of this term. we congratulate her and wish the very best for her and her family in the future.

The luncheon was catered by Locos Restaurant of Littlefield.
