The 2021 Lamb County Junior Livestock Show is now history, and there were 139 animals shown Saturday, Jan. 9, in the first three animal categories, by exhibitors from 4-H and FFA Clubs from

Amherst, Littlefield, Olton, Springlake-Earth, and Sudan.

Judging began shortly after 8 a.m. with Judge Kinder Harlow of Prairie Grove, Ark. beginning with the 26 goats, and continuing with the 19 lambs, 93 swine, Market Heifers, and Steers.

The Dairy Heifer show was judged by Tyler Chupp.

CHAMPIONANINIALS

The Grand Champion Goat was shown by Samuel Hill of Littlefield; while the Reserve Grand Champion Goat was exhibited by Cord Coker of Sudan.

Winning the Goat Showmanship Award Buckle was Kinley Coker of Sudan.

The Grand Champion Lamb was exhibited by Kooper Edwards of Sudan; and the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb was exhibited by Kyndal Edwards of Sudan.

Winning the Lamb Showmanship Award Buckle was Madison Young of Olton.

For the Swine Show, the Grand Champion Pig was a Cross breed, shown by Zayne Humphreys of Sudan; and the Reserve Grand Champion Pig was a Hampshire exhibited by Braelyn Pointer of Sudan.

The Swine ShowmanshipAward Buckle was awarded to Landree Gonzales of Sudan.

The Grand Champion Beef Heifer Award went to Ty Carr’s Maine Anjou heifer of Littlefield; while the Reserve Grand Champion Beef Heifer Award went to Kauy Carr’s Angus heifer of Sudan.

The Grand Champion Steer Award went to Tracen Angeley of Sudan; while the Reserve Grand Champion Steer Award was presented to Paisli Claunch.

The Showmanship Award for the Beef Heifer and Steer Divisions was won by Addison Boehnig of Sudan.

The Supreme Dairy Heifer was exhibited by Jacy Carpenter, who also received the Showmanship Award for the Dairy Heifer Division.

The Reserve Supreme Dairy Heifer was exhibited by Joselyn Contreras ofAmherst.
