The Lamb County Grand Jury met for the January Term A.D. 2023 of the Lamb County 154th Judicial District Court on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, when they indicted a total of 17 defendants; three defendants were indicted on two seperate charges and two defendants were indicted on three seperate charges.
Adrian Chapa Perez was indicted on a charge of Criminal Mischief IMP/ INT PUB Service <$30,000 28.03(b)(4)(D) PENAL CODE FS, that occurred on or about and between the 1st day of May, 2021, and the 1st day of November, 2022. His bond is set at $5,000 Isaac Daniel Ortiz-Martinez was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B<1G 481.115(b) HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE FS, that occurred on or about the 18th day of October, 2022.
His bond is set at $3,500. Isaac Daniel Ortiz-Martinez was also indicted on a charge of Evading Arrest Det W/ Vehicle 38.04(b)(2)(A) PENAL CODE F3, that occurred on or about the 18th day of October, 2022.
His bond is set at $5,000. Tracy Sean Gage was indicted on a charge of TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYS EVID W/INTENT TO IMPAIR 37.09(c) PENAL CODE F3, that occurred on or about the 23rd day of September, 2022.
His Bond is set at $5,000. Charles Christian Myers was indicted on a charge of Assault Fammily/Household Member Prev ConvIAT 22.01(b)(2)(A) PENAL CODE F3, that occurred on or about the 19th day of November, 2022.
And before the commission of the charged offense, the defendant had previously been convicted of an offense under Chapter 22 of the Texas Penal Code, against a member of the defendant’s family and household, and with whom the defendant has or has had a dating relationship, as described by Sections 71.003, 71.005 and 71.0021 (b) of the Texas Family Code, namely on the 26th day of August, 2021, in the County Court at Law No. 1 of Lubbock County, Texas, in cause number CC-2021-CR-0002.

And it is further presented that, prior to the commission of the charged offense (hereafter stlyed the primary offense), on the 8th day of December, 2010, in cause number 10097137 in the 286th District Court of Hockley County, Texas, the defendant was finally convicted of the felony offense of Harassment of a Public Servant; And it is further presented that, prior to the commission of the primary offense, and after the conviction in cause number 10097137 was final, the defendant committed the felony offense of Assault Against a Public Servant and was finally convicted on the 9th day of November, 2017, in cause number 2017-412,832 in the 137th District Court of Lubbock County, Texas.

And it is further presented that, prior to the commission of the charged offense, on the 26th day of June, 2020, in cause number CR48860 in the 238th District Court of Midland County, Texas, the defendant was finally convicted of the felony offense of Assault on a Public Servant.
His Bond is set at $10,000. Jorge Luis Colon was indicted on a charge of Evading Arrest Det W/ Previous Conviction 38.04(b)(1) PENAL CODE FS, that occurred on or about the 25th day of December, 2022.
And it is further presented that, prior to the commission of the charged offense, on the 28th day of July, 2022, in cause number CCR-18017 in the County Court of Lamb County, Texas, the defendant was convicted under Section 38.04 of the Texas Penal Code, of the offense of Evading Arrest/Detention.
