107 Democrats turn out to vote

Lamb County’s Democratic Party Primary Election Ballot drew a total of 107 voters to the polls Tuesday, which only had 12 candidates on it–none of which are local.

There were 26 who voted early by mail, 20 who voted early in person, and 61 who voted on election day,

Democratic voters favored Beto O’Rourke for Governor, with 107 votes; while the other four candidates only got single digit numbers of votes.

It was a rather close race between Carla Brailey, who got 46 votes for Lieutenant Governor, and Mike Collier who received 42 votes. Michelle Beckley got 31 votes in that contest.

Other State Candidates are: For Attorney General: Lee Merritt, 24 votes; Mike Fields, 42 votes; Rochele Mercedes Garza; received the highest count at 52 votes; S. “TBONE” Raynor, six votes; and Joe Jaworski, five votes.

Comptroller, Public Accounts:

Tim Mahoney, 37 votes; Angel Luis Vega, 53 votes; and Janet T. Dudding, 25 votes.

Commiss. General Land Off. Sandragrace Martinez, 57 votes; Jinny Suh, 10 votes; Jay

Kleberg, 20 votes: and Michael Lange, 29 votes. Commissioner of Agriculture:

Commissioner of Agriculture: Ed Ireson, 38 votes; and Susan Hays,77 votes.

These had no opponents

Railroad Commissioner: Luke Warford, 107 votes.
