Since 2006, Cotton Incor-porated’s Blue Jeans Go Green program has collected denim (made from cotton) so it can be recycled back to its original fiber state and transformed into something new.

SWCD taking orders for Windbreak Trees

The Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation is currently taking orders for the Spring Windbreak Tree and other plants sales.There is a variety of trees and other plants available.

Lamb Co. 4-H’ers compete at District 2 Pistol Shooting event

On Thursday, Nov, 7, 2024, Lamb County 4-H sent several students to Lockney, Texas, to compete in the District 2 Pistol Shooting Competition.Students from throughout the county represented three age groups: Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors.

Lfd. HS honoring Veterans on Nov. 7

Littlefield High School will be honoring Veterans of Lamb County in a Veteran’s Day Program on Thursday, Nov. 7th.If you have served our country, LHS would love to have you attend their program.

Local student graduates from UW-Madison

Just over 1,300 students received doctoral, bachelor’s, master’s and professional degrees in August 2024 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.While there is no commencement ceremony in August, many of the graduates take part in the ceremonies the previous spring or in December.
