Double ring wedding vows were exchanged Sunday, July 17, 2022 between Shelton Lee Lovett and Brookelyn Ann Young at the Horse Shoe Knot in Lubbock. The parents of the bride are Kelly and Amy Young of Spade.

The Change Club project has relaunched and offers Littlefield residents an opportunity to earn money, receive funds for a community project, and potentially improve their health! We have relaunched with new communities, increased compensation, and fewer evaluation activities.

The Salvation Army Texas South Plains is opening up a new Family Store and Community Assistance Office in Levelland. The Salvation Army hhas been providing services to those experiencing crisis in Hockley County for many years, however, the launching of the new facility will mark the first time in many years that an actual stand-alone brick/mortar building has been occupied by Salvation Army personnel.

The Lamb County Library’s Board of Directors are seeking donations from the community, to receive funds to replace the wooden Library Sign, that has deteriorated and is falling apart. If anyone is cleaning out their closet, or have left-over garage sale items they would donate for a garage sale to raise funding for the replacement of the wooden sign, please consider donating those items.
