City of Morton to receive TML’s Longevity Award

CITY OF MORTON – The Board of Directors and staff at Texas Municipal League Health (TML) will be presenting a Forty-Year Longevity Award to the City of Morton on Monday, April 11, 2022, to recognize Morton’s many years of partnership with the non-profit healthcare organization.

Volunteers raising funds for courtyard at Arbor Grace

Volunteers are working on a project to benefit the residents of Arbor Grace Wellness Center Nursing Home, and to welcome the new administrator, Rose Rendon. Kathie Melton, the volunteer coordinator, is spearheading a four-phase fundraiser for the new “Memory Lane” courtyard at Arbor Grace Wellness Center, and anyone wishing to participate, or needs more information, is invited to contact her at 806-448-4790.

The Littlefield Economic Development Corporation Type A will meet at 12 noon Thursday, March 10, 2022, in the Chamber of Commerce Office, 601 E. 4th St. for the purpose of considering all matters and related incidents to the City of Littlefield.
