Tara Mitchell and Renee Ramirez will be taking a Mission trip to Turkana, Kenya, from July 19th-Aug. 2nd, where they are going to be going to unreached villages to spread the gospel.Mitchell and Ramirez will be holding a BBQ plate fundraiser on Friday, July 5th in front of 1429 Cherry Blossom Dr.

Springlake 4th of July Celebration set for Thurs.

Springlake’s annual July 4th Celebration will be getting underway at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2024, when entries in the annual parade will be lining up in the area on the south side of the city.The parade will start moving northward down Highway 385 at 6 p.m.

42nd annual Panhandle Parade of Breeds to be held June 13-15 in Plainview

The 42nd annual Panhandle Parade of Breeds junior heifer and steer show will be held June 13,14 and 15 at the Ollie Liner Center, Plainview, Texas. The barn opens at 12 noon Thursday for arrival of heifers and steers. All Mini breeds must be checked in on Thursday. Showmanship entries close at 7 p.

Earth, Texas to Celebrate 100 years

Earth is having a celebration honoring it’s 100th anniversary on Saturday, June 15th.Activities will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street and will continue to the Rodeo Grounds. There will be a brief history of the town and displays about different people from the area.
