The Flatland Music & Arts Festival is back in a big way, bringing four days of live Tex-Mex and country music, art, and family-friendly fun to Littlefield, Texas. The Festival is set for Oct. 1st through 4th and will correspond with Littlefield High School’s Homecoming festivities, which will also take place next week.
On Wednesday, things will kick off with Faith Night, hosted by First Baptist Church in the Pocket Park at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, The Ex-Student’s Association’s Parade will begin at 7 p.m. with the Bonfire to follow off of N Hwy. 385 at 8:30 p.m.
On Friday, the Wildcats will take on Coahoma for their homecoming game, with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen set to take place during halftime. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. After the game, Primetime Barbershop will be hosting a 5th Quarter Movie Night and Main Street Cruise.
On Saturday, the Main Festival gates will open at noon: LC’s Local Band Showcase will be going on, as well as Kids Fun Zones, a Car Show, Vendor Market hosted by the Prickly Sisters a petting zoo hosted by the Lamb County Library and a Hot Pepper eating contest.
At 5 p.m. the evening concert gates will open.
