Springlake to host Annual July 4th Celebration Saturday

Springlake’s annual July 4th Celebration is happening Saturday, July 4, at Springlake Park. The parade will start moving northward down Highway 385 at 6 p.m., and when it reaches Highway 70, it will turn westward to the city park on the west side of town.

Parade lineup begins at 5 p.m. All entries are wel-come. United Pivot Techs will provide water fun.

The Springlake Volunteer Fire Department is hosting the entire event, and invites all of their friends and neighbors in Lamb County and surrounding counties to enjoy live music from Kelly Hastey and the annual fireworks display.

Notably, this year marks the 250th anniversary of America.

After the conclusion of the parade, everyone is invited to gather in the Springlake City Park on the west end of town. A cake auction will be held before the distribution of meal plates.

Tickets for the event are $10 per person; those under 6 years of age will be free. The ticket includes a burger meal.

All proceeds will go towards the purchase of firefighter personal protective equipment.
