CITY OF MORTON – The Board of Directors and staff at Texas Municipal League Health (TML) will be presenting a Forty-Year Longevity Award to the City of Morton on Monday, April 11, 2022, to recognize Morton’s many years of partnership with the non-profit healthcare organization.

The award will be presented at the regularly-scheduled Morton City Council meeting with the TML representative on April 11, 2022.

Public entities throughout the state of Texas are invited to partner with TML Health at the beginning of each new healthcare benefits enrollment period.

Municipalities and other public entities that are interested in partnering, may sign up for a one-year contract with TML Health, with the option to renew their benefits at the end of each year.

Longevity Awards are presented to entities that have partnered with TML Health for five, ten, fifteen, twenty-five, or forty years and more, as a thank you for continued partnership.

The City of Morton has been with TML Health since 1981 and will receive the forty-year award.

TML Health Executive Director Jennifer Hoff said that the longevity award marks an important milestone for both the city and TML Health. “We understand that cities have many choices when it comes to selecting a healthcare provider for their employees every year, and we are so grateful to Mayor Kim Silhan for trusting us with their employees’ healthcare needs for more than forty years. Texas public employees are a vital part of the Morton community, and we are focused on ensuring that they continue to receive the high-quality healthcare they deserve.”
