The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo took place on Feb. 12, 2023, where several Lamb County kids competed.
In the Junior Shorthorn Heifer Show, group 1, which was Heifer Calves, Calved on or after May 1, 2022, Ty Carr of Lamb County 4-H got second place out of six entries.
In group two of the Junior Shorthorn Heifer Show, which was Heifer Calves, Calved between March 1st and April 30, 2022, Weston McCarver of Lamb County 4-H took eighth out of 11 entries.
Ty Carr got Class 5, Reserve Calf. In the junior Shorthorn Heifer Show, group 11, which was Senior Heifers, Calved between Jan. 1 and April 30, 2021, Littlefield FFA member, Ky Hays got first place out of nine entries that were in the group.
Ky Hays won Senior Heifer Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.
