Sudan rallies against Tahoka, win program’s first gold glove

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team took down the Tahoka Bulldogs in game three Saturday afternoon, 14-6, to claim the programs first gold glove in their two-year existance.With the win, the Hornets improve to 19-7 overall on the year.

The Olton Mustangs saw their season come to an end on Thursday night in Littlefield, as they fell to the Ropes Eagles in the Class 2A Bi-district round of the playoffs, 9-0.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team saw their season come to an end on Friday in the Class 3A Bi-district round of the play-offs, as they fell to the Presidio Lady Devils, 9-3, in Wink.With the loss, the Lady Cats finish the season with a mark of 14-8 overall.

Hornets secure two seed, set for series with Tahoka

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team capped off their regular season on Friday with a road victory over Ralls, 16-1.With the win, the Hornets finsh the regular season with a mark of 17-6 overall, 10-2 in district play.

Wildcats fall to Mustangs, 11-4, to close regular season

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team closed out the regular season on Friday with a home loss to the Denver City Mustangs, 11-4, at Wildcat Field.With the loss, the Wildcats finish the regular season with a mark of 12-10 overall, 4-4 in district play.

NEttes clash with Lady wolves for bi-district

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team clashed with the Colorado City Lady Wolves on Thursday in the program’s first ever play-off appearance, falling to the Lady Wolves in the 2A Bi-district round, 10-5.With the loss, the Nettes finish the season with an overall record of 11-11.
