Wildcats shutout Roosevelt, 5-0

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team swept their season series with Roosevelt on Saturday, taking down the Eagles, 5-0, at Wildcat Field.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 16-7 overall, 7-3 in district play.

Nettes shutout Lady Lions, 15-0

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team shut out the New Deal Lady Lions on Monday, 15-0.With the win, the Nettes improve to 14-10-1 overall on the year.

Lady Cats drop heart-breaker to Muleshoe, 10-9

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team dropped a tough loss to the District- leading Muleshoe Lady Mules on Tuesday, 10-9.With the loss, the lady Cats fall to 14-7 overall, 6-4 in district play.The game remained scoreless until the top of the third inning.
The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity golf team competed at the District 4-A Golf Tournament on Monday where they got third place overall as a team. Individually, Hannah Alvarez was the District Champion and Ennah Mosqueda placed fourth overall; both qualify for Regionals. The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team walked off with a run- rule victory on Monday over Idalou, 19- 4, in their second meeting of the season.With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 14- 6 overall, 6- 3 in district play.
