Nettes rally past Sands on the road, 43-42

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team rallied back on Tuesday to take down the Sands Fillies on the road, 43-42, to move to 2-0 overall on the season. The game was neck-and-neck after one court at, 12 points a piece.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team fell on the road on Tuesday against the Ropes Lady Eagles, 54-47. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 0-2 overall on the season.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team’s season came to an end on Thursday night in the Class 1A Six-man DI Bi-district round of the play-offs, as they dropped a barn burner at Anton against Happy, 48-44.

WOLVERINES MAKE IT BACK-TO-BACK DISTRICT TITLES

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team took down Kress at home on Friday, 60-14, to earn their second consecutive District title. With the win, the Wolverines cap off the regular season with an overall mark of 8-1, 4-0 in district play.

Lady Cats fall to Bushland in Area round

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball teams season came to an end on Saturday afternoon in Hereford, as they fell to the Bushland Lady Falcons, 0-3.

Hornets fall at New Home, 40-6, to end regular season

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team fell on the road to New Home in their regular season finale, 40-6. With the loss, the Hornets finish the regular season 2-8 overall, 2-2 in district play.
