LADY CATS TAKE DOWN LAMESA IN 4 SETS, 3-1

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team traveled to Lamesa on Tuesday and took down the Lady Tornadoes in district play, 3-1. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 2-1 in district play.

Amherst Lady Bulldogs XC team compets in Lubbock

The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday. Sophomore, Dennys Reyes, led the team, placing 15 th overall, clocking a time of 14:44.3. Junior, Nancy Rubio, finished 80 th overall with a time of 17:29.

Lady Wolverine JH cross country team places first at Lazbuddie

The Springlake-Earth Junior High cross country teams competed at the Lazbuddie Junior High Meet, where the Lady Wolverines took first place overall. Aabriella Villanueva led the team, placing first overall with a time of 12:48, while Chelsie Bridges placed fourth and Jessica Mendoza placed ninth.

Anton XC teams take part in Lubbock ISD Invitational

The Anton Bulldog and Lady Dogs’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where the Lady Dogs finished 16 th overall with 369 points. On the girl’s side, junior, Andalesia Alonzo-Rivera, led the team, finishing 52 nd overall, clocking a time of 16:11.3.

Hornet XC team places 12th at Lubbock Meet

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they finished 12 th overall with a total of 310 points. Senior, Edgar Delgado, finished 53 rd with a time of 21:38.1, while sophomore, Alan Flores, finished 56 th with a time of 21:42.

Nettes XC team places ninth at Lubbock ISD Invitational

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they placed ninth overall with a total of 262 points. Freshman, Addisyn Harrell, led the team, placing 17 th overall with a time of 13:59.5.

Olton Mustang XC team finishes 14th in Lubbock

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they finished 14 th overall with a total of 331 points. Freshman, Harry Amador, finished 62 nd overall with a time of 21:57.

Olton Fillie XC team finishes 23rd in Lubbock

The Olton Fillies’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they finished 23 rd overall with a total of 586 points. Freshman, Yareli Santillan, led the Fillies, finishing 38 th overall, clocking a time of 14:46.1.
