Football Contest set to return Aug. 23

The annual Lamb County Leader-News football contest is set to return with the first set of games coming out in the August 23rd edition of the Leader-News.The first week of the contest includes 10 high school football games and 10 College games.

Lady Cat Youth Volleyball Camp set for July 27-29

The Lady Cat Youth Volleyball Camp is set for July 27th-29th at the new High School Auxiliary Gym.There will be two sessions. The first session will be for incoming third through sixth graders from 9 a.m. to 11a.m. The second session will be for 7th through 9th graders from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Olton Mini Cheer Camp set for August 16

Olton will be hosting their Mini Cheer Camp on August 16th.There will be two sessions: Session 1 will be for Pre-K through 2nd graders from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.Session 2 will be for 3rd through 6th graders.The cost of the camp is $35 and includes a camp tshirt.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, another summer has come and gone. I’m not sure where the time went, it seems like just yesterday we were still playing baseball/ teeball, now we’re school shopping and about to start sleep training to get back into routine for school.
