Hornets drop game 1 to Ropes, 11-1

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team dropped game one of their Bi-district Series with the Ropes Eagles on Wednesday afternoon, 11-1, at Lockney High School in the Class 2A-DII Bi-district round of the play-offs.Haden Provence started on the mound for the Hornets, pitching 3.

Agundiz places third at STate golf meet to lead wolverines

The Springlake- Earth Wolverines’ varsity golf team competed at the State Golf Tournament in Leander on April 27th and 28th, where they finished 11th as a team.The Wolverines were led by senior, Froylan Agundiz, who placed third overall individually.

Hornets fall to ROpes in game 2, 12-1

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team saw their season come to an end on Wednesday night, as they fell to the Ropes Eagles in game two, 121, at Lockney High School in the Class 2A-DII Bi-district round of the play-offs.With the loss, the Hornets finish the season with an overall mark of 9-13.

Nettes Fall to Sundown in Bi-District round

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team had their season come to an end in the Class 2A-DII Bi-district round of the play-offs, as they fell to the Sundown Roughettes in a home-andhome series, 2-0.In game one on Friday night in Sudan, the Nettes fell, 27-1, in three innings.
