Lady Cats fall to host team Seminole, 7-4

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team came up short on Thursday in their second game of tournament play in Seminole, as they fell to the host-team Maidens, 7-4. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 1-1 in tournament play.

Nettes run rule Sundown, 13-3, to open District play

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team opened district play on Tuesday with a, 13-3, victory over the Sundown Roughettes. With the win the Nettes improve to 4-1 overall, 1-0 in district play. Both teams tallied one run in the first inning, before being held scoreless in through the second inning.

LFD. JH TRACK TEAMS COMPETE HARD AT IDALOU

The Littlefield Junior High seventh and eighth grade track teams competed at the Wildcat Relays in Idalou on Tuesday. The seventh grade boys got fourth place with 68 points, while the seventh grade girls finished fourth with 72 points.

Sudan varsity track teams finish fourth at Lfd. Wildcat Relays

The Sudan varsity track teams competed at the Wildcat Relays at Wildcat Stadium in Littlefield on Friday, with both teams finishing fourth overall. The Hornets finished with 76 points, while the Nettes posted 86 points.

LFD. TRACK TEAMS COMPETE AT IDALOU

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the Wildcat Relays in Idalou on Thursday with both teams placing third overall. The Lady Cats finished with 93 points, while the Wildcats finished with 84 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 3 rd Emily Champion 13.

MUSTANGS FALL TO CHRISTOVAL IN REGIONAL SEMIFINAL

The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team saw their season come to an end in the 2A Regional Tournament, as they fell to the Christoval Cougars, 59-42, in the Regional Semi-final at South Plains College’s Texan Dome on Friday.

Lady Cats place second, Wildcats finish third at Wildcat Relays

The Littlefield varsity track teams hosted the Wildcat Relays at Wildcat Stadium in Littlefield on Friday with the Lady Cats placing second overall with 149 points and the Wildcats finishing third overall with 109 points.

LADY CATS RUN RULE LCHS, 13-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team run ruled the Lubbock Christian Lady Eagles on Saturday, 13-3, at Lady Cat Field in Littlefield. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 4-3 overall on the season.

Nettes dominate District 5-2A All-District teams

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team finished the season as undefeated District champions, as well as earning Bi-district and Area championships and finishing the season as Regional Quarter-finalists.
