Public Fishing, Paddling Access Expands with Two New Sites

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is expanding public fishing and paddling opportunities in the state with the addition of two leased river access sites through the River Access and Conservation Area (RACA) program.

LITTLEFIELD MINI CHEER CAMP

Littlefield High School hosted a three-day cheer camp on Wednesday, June 22, through Friday, June 24 at the Wildcat Gymnasium. The camp was separated into two sessions. The first session is three- and four-year-olds and the second session is five-year-olds to 11-year-olds.

OLTON BASKETBALL CAMP

On Monday June 20, 2022 through Wednesday June 22, Olton High School will host a three day girls basketball camp. The camp will consist of three sessions; the first session is pre-K through kindergarten from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., the second session is first grade through sixth grade from 10:30 a.m.

Results of UIL rule proposals for 22-23 school year

A meeting of the UIL Standing Committee on Athletics was held on June 14, 2022, at the Austin Marriott North in Round Rock, TX, to discuss proposals for changes in the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules that have athletic related aspects in order to report recommendations to the Legislative Council.
