The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team had several members earn All-District Honors for the 2023 season.
Freshman, Haylee Toscano, was the lone first team All-District selection, as a utility player.
Junior, Blessella Montes, earned a second team All-District selection as a pitcher, while senior, Gracyn Shultz, earned second team All-District honors as a catcher. Freshman third baseman, Danielle Mitchell, earned second team All-District honors as an infielder.
Those earning honorable mention were junior designated player, Laynee Jennings, and junior first baseman, Angelina Thorn.
Those earning THSCA Academic Honors were Kinley Coker, who earned second team Academic All-State recognition and Gracyn Shultz, who earned Honorable Mention Academic All-State.
Academic All-District Honors went to Carly Groetken, Kalissa Harris, Daniella Ramirez, Haylee Toscano, Danielle Mitchell, Aspen Cantu, Edette Herrera, Erica Herrera, Laynee Jennings, Blessella Montes, Angelina Thorn, Gracyn Shultz and Kinley Coker.
