The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team took down Hart last Thursday, 80-9, to improve to, 3-0 in district play.
Junior, Sayler Beerwinkle, led the team in scoring with 23 points, to go along with seven rebounds, while sophomore, Halee Toscano, chipped in 21 points and eight steals.
Senior, Carsann Baker, joined them in double-figures scoring with 14 points and four rebounds, while sophomore, Kani Holmes, tallied seven points and five assists and junior, Micaela Fuents, contributed six points.
Freshman, Taytum Goodman, racked up three points, nine assists and nine steals, while junior, Mahalia Delgado, added two points and four assists, freshman, DD Delgado, added two points and four assists and freshman, Sydney Furr, finished with two points and six rebounds.
The Lady Wolverines return to action on Dec. 28th on the road against Post and Dec. 30th at O’Donnell.
