The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team fell at home on Tuesday to the Dalhart Lady Wolves, 56-28.
With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 0-4 on the season.
Dalhart jumped out to an early, 13-8, lead in the first quarter and they outscored the Lady Cats, 11-7, in the second frame to take a, 24-15, lead into the locker room at halftime.
Littlefield was outscored, 12-7, in the third quarter, and, 10-6, in the fourth quarter, as they fell to the Lady Wolves, 46-28.
They were led in scoring by senior, Geyah Garza, who fmished with 12 points. Freshman, Kyndal Edgemon, tallied nine points, while junior, Brookelyn Gau, added five points and junior, Ashtyn Parker, fmished with two points.
The Lady Cats opened district on Friday against the Muleshoe Lady Mules and took on Levelland on Saturday in non-district play. Results were not available at press time. They will be at home against Denver City on Tuesday to take on the Fillies in district play.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
