The deeper dive one takes into life’s hourglass of time, the more likely it is to ponder nuggets of health news that might affect longevity.One jumped out at me the other day when a physician’s findings gave me an additional reason to keep as close an eye on my cane as I do my cell phone.

Blessings to you dear friends and family, I don’t know if you have children or not, but I hope you can relate somewhat. Well, my daughter just recently graduated high school and is now settled in college.Daily routines started to change some for my wife and myself. Not in a bad way.

Early voting begins next week Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election begins Monday, Oct. 21 and ends on Nov. 1. Texas voters will be choosing from a full slate of candidates, from president to U.S. senator to various county positions.The deadline to register to vote was Oct. 7.
