Roger Elloise Travenia was born on June 2, 1935, in Rita, TX, to Mattie Lee Jones and Tola Travenia. He passed away in Rice, TX on Jan. 25, 2023, at the age of 87. Roger started working at an early age on his parent’s farm.

William “Bill” Adams, 74, of Slaton passed away Sunday, Feb.5, 2023. Bill was born on May 11, 1948 in Littlefield, TX to William Odell Adams and LaJean Curtis Adams. Bill grew up on the family farm and attended Spade High School. He graduated Valedictorian of his 1968 class.

John Castillo, 78, of Littlefield passed away Feb. 8, 2023 in Amherst. He was born July 29, 1944 in Littlefield to Marcelino Castillo and Juanita Reyes Castillo. John quit school in the 8th grade to work on the farm, because even at an early age he was dedicated to providing for his family.
