Ben “Burro” Perez, was born in Artesia, NM to Isabel Perez and Paula Barragan Perez on Sept. 11, 1945. He passed away on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023. Ben moved to Texas in his younger years and had since made Littlefield his home.

Margarita “ Maggie” DeLaRosa, 68, of Olton, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, in Lubbock, TX. Maggie was born in Olton, TX, Jan. 17, 1955, to Federico DeLaRosa II and Josefita (Zamora) DeLaRosa. Maggie was a lifetime Olton resident and was a Catholic.

LOUIS AGUILAR

Louis Aguilar Jr., 70, of Littlefield, TX, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023. Born on Dec. 2, 1952, in Nebraska, Louis was the son of Louis Aguilar Sr. and Maria Aguilar. He married Gloria Luna on Oct. 1, 1979 in Littlefield.

James Earl Kemp

Sept. 15, 1958 ~ Sept. 7 2023 James Earl Kemp began his life on Sept. 15, 1958 in Amherst, TX. He was the son of the late Vernell Kemp, Sr. and Betty Jo Kemp. He was raised in Littlefield, TX where he attended school. He accepted Christ as a young man. He was the father of five children.

Marylee Kathryn Shields

Aug. 2, 1940 ~ Sept. 14, 2023 Marylee Kathryn Shields, 83 of Littlefield entered into the gates of Heaven Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born August 2, 1940 in Yuba City, California to Harvey Van White and Hazel Blanche (Olds) White. Marylee graduated from Emmett High School in 1958.

UIL LOROS GUNTER

Uil Loros Gunter, 90, of Amarillo and formerly of Olton, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, in Amarillo, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Olton. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Flotessia "Doll" Kesey Synatschk, 86, of Anton passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at home. She was born November 17, 1936 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Herbert Claborn Kesey and Julia Etta (Kesey) Owens. Doll married Herbert Louis Synatschk September 9, 1956.
